Common Questions
How is pricing determined?

All trees are different, so we always inspect your trees in person before giving a quote. Pricing is dependent on the difficulty of access, the size and type of tree, and the potential danger of the job.
Is our company insured?

Yes our company is fully insured. We can send through documentation on request.
Are our employees qualified?

Our crew that work on site are either qualified arborists or apprentice arborists. Work undertaken by inappropriately qualified contractors could result in major damage to your or your neighbour’s property, injury to people which may leave you liable for any associated costs.
Why get in an Arborist?

Hiring an arborist is a decision that should not be taken lightly. Well cared for trees are attractive and can add value to your property. Poorly maintained trees can be a significant liability. Arborists are knowledgeable about the needs of trees and are trained and equipped to provide you with the best possible advice on taking proper care of your trees. How soon can we do the work?
From quote acceptance we will try and schedule your work in as soon as possible, working with you to arrange a suitable day which works best with your schedule. The time frame for getting the work done depends on how big the job is. We may be able to schedule you in the very next day or you may have to wait a week or two. This will be discussed on acceptance of your quote and we will use our best endeavours to meet your needs.

What is stump grinding?
Stump grinding is done with a power tool or equipment attachment that removes tree stumps by means of a high speed rotating cutting disk with teeth that chips away the wood. Stump grinders can be the size of a lawn mower or as large as truck. The cutter wheel movements are controlled by hydraulic cylinders to push the cutter wheel teeth laterally through the stump and to raise and lower the cutter wheel. With stump grinding we can generally get the stump 4-6 inches below the ground.
Do we clean up after the job is completed?

We do our best to leave your property as tidy as possible however if you choose to have your stumps ground, there will be some chippings left behind.

When our Arborist visits your property to provide you with a quote he will let you know if you need Council approval. Each Council has different rules and the rules change from time to time. If you do need Council approval our Arborist and office staff will assist you with this.
